Politics and Religion and You
Why is it so important to get religious support through government? What opportunities are available for the religion if it gets that support? How do religious followers convince the people in political power , or anybody in general, that they understand the true message of god and are the closest to him ?

Good question. Everyone should read Isaac Asimov's book Foundation. It deals with this very question!

ReplyDeleteI feel like it is important for religious support through government because if the government and religion are on the same path, it will prevent disorganization and the fight of power and followers between the two. If the religion gets that support rules and laws would be changed or created to keep their benefit in mind. When religious followers convince people in power they can fully have basic authority because the God that they have has authority over the political side.
ReplyDeleteThat is a descent answer but i do not agree that it will stop the fight for power because there is always going to be someone who thinks that they are a better leader then another and will do whatever it takes to prove so.But other then that your answer is pretty solid.
